Wondering about biopsy

This is a very helpful forum. Thanks to everyone who has posted and shared their knowledge/experience. My situation is this - my doctor felt some cysts in my breasts 6 months ago after I mentioned that I felt a change in my BSE. I had an ultrasound at that time - scattered cysts in both breasts, small size of some lesions limits characterization - BI-RADS 3

Just had my 6 month follow-up u/s - Impression: multiple simple and complex bilateral breast cysts. Lobular heterogeneously hypoechoic mass without internal vascularity measures 1.4cm - may represent a complex cyst or fibroadenoma, recommending another 6 month follow-up

I am 52, family history of breast cancer on my dad's side, unknown on mom's, I had precancerous cells in my cervix in my 30s treated with LEEP

My doctor is not concerned and wants me to wait for f/u in 6 months. I have read elsewhere that if there are changes in the 6 month interval a biopsy should be performed. I am thinking of pushing for a biopsy and/or second opinion. Thoughts. . .
