switch out textured implants for smooth?

Hi,

In light of the news re the added dangers of textures implants, have any of your surgeons suggested switching textured implants for smooth ones? I have Mentor textured, and dread the idea of more surgery, but wonder if I should get these removed!

Also, - at what point did you have an mri or follow up tests to look for leakage? I was under the impression that it was at the 3 year mark, but my drs dont seem to feel it is necessary yet.
