Swimsuit help no forms wanted

Options

I'm looking for recommendations on plus size suits that dont need forms. We are going to the beach in a month and I'm trying to figure this out. I have forms but not sure they're waterproof. I don't want to spend extra money on special forms. Has anyone had luck with suits and no forms? Thx

Shoot, I was hoping you got some replies! I hope you have managed to find a solution, and you’re enjoying the beach. It’s tougher than I thought it would be to dress an unreconstructed body! And I personally would feel better seeing all the bathing suit ads online if I had one that I could wear.

I wear an older regular bra, an older knitted knocker, and a rash guard shirt with a regular bikini bottom. Good for surfing, and swimming too! Best wishes and I hope you enjoy the beach. :-)

Tangandchris, when I first saw your post, I cruised all over the internet looking for something along the lines of the Speedo suits I used to wear for swim team (long, long ago...). They had no bra whatsoever, just smooth fabric to cover the chest. I had zero luck.

When I swim outside now, I wear a sun protective shirt--like a rash guard shirt--from Coolibar. I wear it over a very plain swimsuit, since I have reconstructed girls, but it would work great and be very comfortable by itself. They have some bright prints that are pretty.

With a rash-guard shirt or tank and a swim bottom, you'd be set. They all come in plus sizes too. Here's a cute one from Land's End. Good luck, girlfriend, and enjoy the beach!

I wear the lands end 3/4 sleeve rash guard and their swim shorts. Have since the year after my treatment. Comfortable, modest, allows me to play with the kids and not worry about getting burnt.

    Good luck and have fun!

Well I ended up getting swim forms, and then didn't even use them lol!

I just realized that I didn't care if I looked flat. Turns out no one was paying attention lol

We Had a great time at the beach. I LOVED it and am struggling a little being back to work. That is a whole other thread topic though lol.

    Thanks everyone❤❤❤

Tangandchris, GOOD FOR YOU. I bet going flat at the beach was a lot more comfortable than lugging the swim forms around.

We are warriors and we have battle scars. We have nothing to be ashamed of. If an Afghanistan veteran amputee was enjoying the beach with his stump visible, would we be judgmental? Wish he would camouflage it so he looked like everyone else? I think not.
