Exactly Meow. We just drew the unlucky card. So many women live the healthy lifestyle and still get BC. No family history - still get it. Doctors don’t really know why some of us do get BC. All the so called risk factors doesn’t apply to everyone. In my case my sister and I both have BC probably because our mother had it although 70% of BC cases are not genetic so we fall in the 30% category.

Had my Oncotype score not come back low I can’t say for sure I would have done chemo. Living with that decision however, is really difficult because if you have a recurrence you would be wondering what if..even if the benefit is only a small percentage.
