Diagnosed with DCIS. Stage 0, grade 2-3, ER+ PR+ . So doctor is optimistic and I am too. However, once you start reading/researching, etc. you find that maybe not all is well ! I have to have a breast MRI next week, along with other pre-surgery tests. My question is, how many diagnosed with DCIS, found out after a MRI, that there was more going on ? That's my latest worry...... Thanks in advance.

rabby55 - After my MRI I got a call back that 2 additional spots were found. One in each breast. This was on a Friday and I freaked out all weekend and into the next week until I was able to go in for biopsies and get those results. Thankfully they were both B9. So IF you are told there is something else seen don't assume it's something bad! I had Pagets of the nipple as well with the DCIS underneath but after my BMX my pathology report had no surprises. Hang in there!
