Bleeding after D and C b/c I stopped tamoxifen??

I had a D and C, hysteroscopy, and multiple polyps removed last monday. Bleeding was minimal to nonexistent for first few days. I started bleeding heavier on Friday and 4 days later it is still heavy. Spoke to my dr Saturday and today to let her know what is going on. she thinks that It is from stopping the tamixifen and my hormones are out of whack. My oncologist stopped it about a month ago till we had d and c results. I had been on tamoxifen for 3 ½ years. Everything was benign so I started tamoxifen again today and dr thinks that should help lessen the bleeding. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this? Two years ago i had a d and c I did not stop tamoxifen and did not experience any heavy bleeding.
