Hi! I actually logged in today for the first time in months because I wanted to also know if others were experiencing hair loss on Letrozole! I have been on it for 2 years and I have lost about 50% of the hair on the top of my head. I have naturally thick hair but this is very noticeable. I bought some minoxidil hoping it will help. I read that hair loss can be a side effect of Letrozole and that it could result in permanently damaged hair follicles.

I didn't need chemo because my Oncotype score was low, so this is really frustrating that I avoided that hair loss but may end up with something more permanent! I am considering discontinuing my Letrozole. I've had other bad side effects too such as hot flashes, weight gain, and terrible peripheral neuropathy. I wish I had a crystal ball that would tell me my chances of recurrence if I quit taking it.
