Just dx-waiting for derm to do excisional biopsy- they say early, etc... anyone with a good story about this dxx?

    About 6 months after my mastectomy I had a mark on my face.   I had to go to a plastic surgeon to have it removed.  It was a small very tiny black dot .   However the scar on my face was about 5 inches.  Turns out it was all inside.  They had to go in two times because the margins were not clear enough the first time.  It now has healed well and my face is still very red but eventually that will go away.  I now see the dermatologist every 6 months.

    so glad you are doing well. What is ironic, is that I do go to the derm every 6 months-- this presented so differently than a mole--I am just so glad that we looked at it!! Feeling good about the doc's comments about 98% curable and not to worry about this--- will go back in for re-excision once she has the margins from the biopsy....
