forgot a dose

What should I do if I think I forget to take my letrozole dose? Should I take it and possibly take double the amount or forget it and wait until tomorrow. This is the first time this has happened and I am going crazy deciding what to do. Thanks for any advice.

I have missed a dose numerous times due to just forgetting to take it before bed. I just get back on track the next night. I had never considered mentioning it to my doctor but if you are concerned it might be a good idea

When do you usually take it? If it's only been a few hours, you can take it. But if you normally take it in the morning, you should hold off and just get back on track tomorrow. You don't want a double dose in your system.

There's usually information on that situation on the insert sheet that comes with the prescription. What Beesie said is what the information sheets say; if it's just a few hours, take it, otherwise wait until the regular time the next day and just skip the one dose. You could also check with your pharmacist.
