Anyone had immeidate DIEP reconstruction at MSKCC NY ?

Hi,

39 yrs old with DCIS (5.6x2.9x1.9cms) in right breast. ER+/PR+, genetics negative.

I am planning to have a unilateral MX at MSKCC NY. I want to do the DIEP reconstruction but I'm a bit nervous about the procedure and more so the recovery time.

Has anyone had immediate reconstruction done at MSKCC ?

How much pain/discomfort can I expect ? I'm very nervous and a bit scared for the recovery.
