Breast rash with high risk family history

Hi

I guess I'm just here to vent and maybe get some advice. I have a very strong family history with 2 aunts diagnosed before 40 both passing away by 50, and another aunt with ovarian.

I am on top of my yearly mammogram and ultrasound and had a biopsy October last year and was benign.

I have had a very pale rash above my areola going on 5 weeks now. It doesn't feel different, itch or anything it's just their. My breast does feel hot but I am pregnant so they both do.

My doctors are not taking it seriously and I'm sure it is nothing but my specialist app. Is not till August!

Does anyone know where I can find pictures of the beginning stages of these cancer rashes? All I seem to be able to find are later stage pictures.

Thanks

    Hi there, Beck_383!

We want to welcome you to our community here at BCO, and we're so sorry you find yourself here with worry! We know how concerning it can be, especially during pregnancy.

We don't share or post pictures of breast cancer symptoms, because we don't want to encourage those with breast cancer concerns to use them as a diagnostic tool. That being said, symptoms like the one you've described progress very rapidly, often within days, and typically do not go unchanged for 5 weeks. Breast changes during pregnancy are very common, as are skin issues. It may be a good idea to have your rash looked at by a dermatologist, in addition to your regular doc! And if the rash changes in any way or you begin to notice other symptoms, bring it to your doctors attention as soon as possible.

Please keep us posted on how it goes!
