Good Morning,

45 yo mother of 3, no personal history of cancer. Though my aunt (dad's sis had breast cancer).

I have been having some sharp pains in my left breast since last few weeks. The pain started out from the left side of the breast radiating towards the middle. I saw my OB and they sent me for my first mammogram. While waiting for the appointment, the pain got worst (shoulder and upper back pain) accompanied by low grade fever. I panicked and went to see the OB again. She changed the memo request to diagnostic mammogram and i was able to have an earlier appointment. The results of Mammogram came back normal (no malignancy, calcification or spots). But they also stated that the breast tissue is heterogeneously dense .

I am still having episodes of sharp pain. sometime the pain is under the arm other time right bottom of the breast radiation towards the nipple. I have no lumps, no changes in the shape size or appearance of the breast that i can see. I was pain free for three days but the pain started again last night and is quite persistent. I am about to have my periods as well so my right breast is also tender but not the same as left side. I thought and still think i might got kicked by my little one while changing him but i am not certain.

My OB asked me to go to the breast clinic if i am still having the pain. Got an appointment in two weeks. I just wanted to reach out to see if someone else has experienced the same. I am supper worried and concerned about the pain.

Thanks in Advance!!
