To continue with radiation or not ?

Options

I'm seeking some input from others with my type of tumour or similar “ solid papillary carcinoma in site non-invasive ( stage 0 grade 1-2 )

I have had 9 of scheduled 16 radiation treatments. I was advised to have radiation by my breast surgeon and radiation oncologist. I was reluctant but decided to have it as it's the standard of care here in Canads. I am having partial breast radiation which was my idea and I am only one of a few patients who have had this in our whole area. Now I am slightly concerned about the scatter effect and chance of the radiation ( and 1-2 xrays every time) causing a cancer elsewhere, ( I've also had 4 CT scans due to three planning sessions and difficulty they have had with alignment). Today my radiation oncologist said there is no way of knowing whether 10 treatments which is what I'm considering stopping at will do me any good or not as they only have data for 16. She did say they are going to start a tr for women with my stage and grade of tumour and non invasive for 5 more high dose partial breast radiation treatments, too late for me if course.

Anyone who has mare suvh a devosion one way or the other or moderators which knowlwdge , I'd really appreciate hearing about it.
