Lactose in meds?

I've had an uptick in my GI issues since starting anastrozole and just chalked it up to adjusting to new medication. However, I was checking the ingredients of it this morning for other reasons (corn sensitivity that triggers migraines) and noticed lactose as the first inactive ingredient. I don't eat dairy because of GI effects and haven't for years. Apparently it's a small enough amount that most people don't have issues with it, but I'm wondering if that's what's caused the GI crankiness. Any other lactose intolerant people encounter problems with this? Does taking the enzyme help? It's not terrible, but I have enough trouble with food sensitivities and GI stuff that I'd really like to not be adding to the problem if I can avoid it.

I am also lactose intolerant, but have not noticed major issues with anastrozole. I think I remember looking up the brand name drug and it also had lactose. I wonder about the other AI's.
