Femara, antibiotics, and rash

I started taking Femara in January and in March I took an antibiotic (Cefidinir) and immediately developed a rash on my arms, knees, and waist. I've never had a reaction to an antibiotic before. I switched to another antibiotic (Amoxicillin) and then took prednisone. My rash cleared but the amoxicillin didn't fully clear my sinus infection so I started a 3rd antibiotic (doxycycline). It took more time but I have developed another rash despite no previous rashes to antibiotics. I'm a scientist so my theory is that femara + antibiotics is causing the rash and not the antibiotics themselves.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Could be, but it is not at all uncommon to develop reactions to things later in life. I had a friend who started getting anaphylaxis to penicillin after taking it all her life. Sounds like the combo didn’t make you react to the Amoxicillin, or were you taking it at the same time as the prednisone.
