For those with residual disease after neoadjuvant chemo

These results seem to vary so greatly, but none of us know for sure until surgery and path report. I had a last of 6 TCH today ...no perjeta...and will contune Herceptin until December. My recent MRI shows a 9 mm area which could be residual disease or could be scar. My surgery is April 25.

I would love hear others' experiences and whether you required rads or other treatment er NY after surgery.

I had neoadjuvant treatment five years ago and didn't achieve pathological complete response. I was told radiation was necessary because of this. I currently have no evidence of the disease.

Thanks Traveltext. I am ok with the radiation and have always know it was a posdibility... we do what we have to. My MO mentioned pCR last physical exam but who knows what the testing will show. My BMX is 4/25. SO happy your are NED!
