Does capsulectomy on mastectomy breast hurt

I have textured implants and want them out due to worries of breast implant associated lyphoma ALCL. Could someone comment on if capsulectomy on mastectomy breast hurt more since real breast is gone and is the fragile mastectomy skin at risk for injury during capsulectomy?

    Sorry I don't have an answer for you but I'm here hoping someone pops in and has an answer for I'm in the same position as you. I have textured implants and will be removing them too. I also had a double mastectomy and wondering if capsulectomy is more painful for us.

    Thanks, when is your explant and did you have textured implants, which are prompting to explant? Are you revising with new reconstruction? On a facebook group I belong to a few ladies just texted me that the explant is not that bad for mastectomy patients, just FYI.
