Question about changes in ALH

I had a stereotactic biopsy and wire guided local in 2017 which found ALH only. Today at my routine they found increased concerning calcifications. I need another stereotactic next week. Is this just the cycle of things? Has anyone else experienced the increase in calcifications and what was the outcome? Thank you Jess

You might just keep producing calcifications. The problem is there is no way by just looking at the images whether it is still ALH. ADH and ALH can co-oexist as can IDC and ILC so you may have to have a biopsy every now and then.

I believe the ALH makes you high risk so your ins company may pay for periodic MRI's.

Thank you djmammo. I do get rotating mri's and mammo's every 6 months. I have very dense breast tissue so that was the best protocol. Thanks for your input. Hopefully its just more of the same ALH.
