How long between neoadjuvand and BMX?

Hi all...my final round of chemo (TCH) is Thursday the 4th. I had MRI last week and BS office just called to say the date for double mast is set for April 25. That leaves 3 weeks in between. I am curious what others have experienced in time between. Thanks.

    Just depends on your counts I imagine. My surgeon thought it was best to wait 8-12 weeks from last chemo, but when I told her I was hoping it was sooner, she called my oncologist and she cleared me to do it earlier. I had it done about 6 weeks from last chemo. I'm sure they will do a pre op and make sure your counts are okay. You want to make sure that you're going to heal well and not be at risk for infection.

    B-A-P thanks for sharing. Hopefully my counts will be higher by then. As of now low and last chemo is tomorrow. Even with Neulasta my WBC has been dragging and my thc low as well. They scheduled pre-op tests for this Fri. I was told early May originally but it looks like 3 weeks from tomorrow for me as of now.
