Anyone allergic to the blue dye during surgery

It seems that the redness on my breast that occurred 4 weeks after surgery is an allergic reaction to the blue dye they inject into your nipple to locate the sentinel node. My surgeon said she doesn't know what it is and offered antibiotics, but I want to wait on that. Her nurse practitioner thinks it is a delayed reaction to the blue dye. Has anyone had any type of adverse reaction to the dye?
