Not Diagnosed but very concerned

I am 19 yrs old, a couple days ago i realized this knot on my chest, it’s non movable, very hard, painless.

i’m very concerned & i was wondering you ladies could help me.

i am making an appt tomorrow with my doctor tomorrow.

The good news is that there are all kinds of things that can cause what you're describing that are not breast cancer, especially in younger women. The other good news is that you are getting it checked out by a doctor, which is the right thing to do. Thinking cancer is a bit like hearing hoofbeats and thinking zebras instead of horses, but I understand that's where our minds go. Now is a good time to bust out your self-soothing and self-distracting techniques. If the doctor thinks it is even a little suspicious, they may order follow up testing just to be prudent - not because it's likely cancer, but because even if the chance is small it's important to find out for sure as early as possible). Hang in there.
