Expander placement pain

I had expanders places yesterday 10 days out from left mastectomy and 6 weeks out from right. I already had an expander in the right but it leaked so they replaced it. The pain is pretty intense. I'm taking my oxy on schedule but I'm still in quite a bit of pain. Any suggestions? Is it ok to ice? I plan to call my ps tomorrow as well.
