Hello, ladies! I was prescribed a Juxtafit Circaid last year. I got a custom one as I have long arms. It’s been a nightmare. Even at the lowest compression it makes my arm fall asleep, turns my fingertips blue, it’s painful and a hassle to put on! My therapist helped me a couple of times and even with her help it just doesn’t work for me.

Would you guys mind sharing what night time garment you use and if you recommend it? I saw there is a Tribute with velcro straps now, has anyone tried it?

Hugs

I have an original Solaris Tribute but find it very warm - a problem in summer.

The best thing I have used is a Flexi Touch machine with vest and upper leg coverage. The cycle runs an hour. Insurance gave prior authorization and paid the entire amount (after an initial denial despite the PA!)

I use Solaris Tribute as well and have found the company flexible in meeting my specific needs. They are warm though, and I live in the desert, so they go into a plastic grocery bag in the morning and get stuffed into the fridge. When I'm ready for bed they're cool and actually refreshing, and the foam holds the cool long enough for me to fall asleep. I order my arm sleeves with zippers, which makes them easier to don and take off--important if you want to do anything at night besides sleep.

I also have a Flexi-touch, which helps with all-around LE care, but it doesn't work for me in place of night garments.

We're all different, though, so unfortunately a lot of (often expensive!) trial and error is sometimes necessary--sigh!

Let us know what you come up with, Manuella. Hugs,
    Binney
