Supplements: specifically turmeric and marine collagen

Options

Hello!

I was wondering about turmeric. How much do you take? I have read it could interfere with Tamoxifen which is why I've hesitated. But whenever I read on it it seems to have a lot of benefits.

Also, I'm considering Marine Collagen to counteract side effects of tamoxifen and just aging in general. I have had dry skin and hair shedding and my period didn't come last month which was a bummer (I'm 43). I would love to hear about any experiences with taking that.

I am currently eating a plant based diet, basically pescatarian, focus on antioxidants and fortifiers. I take daily: probiotics, vitamin D, B complex, fish oil, baby aspirin, magnesium and melatonin before bed. Also been exercising almost every day. I feel way better than before cancer! But, it can be overwhelming to figure out all that might be beneficial.

Hi Dovely, I take Doctor's Best Curcumin C3 complex. I take one 1 gram tablet 4 times a day. I buy it at online at vitacost.com. I chose that one because it is made by the manufacturer that is used in many clinical trials. An MD Anderson Dr. Told me to take 2 four times a day, but it just got too expensive. Curcumin is the part of Turmeric that is anticancer and anti-inflammatory. I'm sorry but I don't know anything about marine collagen.

I’m so confused about Turmeric/curcumin. I was taking it for a while and felt great on it. Then some conflicting information has come up about it. I would buy a truckload if I could confirm it was safe for er+ gals!!

    Does anyone have further opinions?
