I'm 4 months into a 5 month chemo plan, and, frankly, sex is the last thing on my mind.  Seriously, how do people manage?

Anyway, I've been married for 25 years and my husband is nothing but supportive and understanding.  Not just now, but pretty much always.

Earlier this week he bought me new winter boots.  I needed some, but haven't gotten around to it.  He showed me the boots on line, and somehow I thought he was asking for my opinion on boots for himself.  I honestly thought what he picked out was a bit feminine for a guy, but whatever.

I didn't realize until they came yesterday that they were for me.  He's been stressing that I'll slip on ice and just needed to do something about it.

Yep!  Considering I was 19 when we met, it's mostly luck.  Lucky it turned out that he's not just a pretty face.
