Results, and more biopsies

So I had my appointment today and I've got DCIS intermediate, but there is another area that needs to be checked out and there is no indication as to whether that is the same or something else, so I'm going back for further biopsies next week with the results the week after. I'm so frustrated- I thought this would be my day for clarity and it isn't!

I am sorry for your diagnosis and sorry you are having to wait even longer to get the answers! Waiting, especially in the beginning, truly just sucks. It will help when you get the whole picture and a plan in place. As hard as it seems, try to practice some self care and distract yourself when possible. Meet up with friends, binge watch some Netflix with whatever food you like to indulge in! Sending you good thoughts as you wait. Come here to ask all the questions you need to, or if you need to just vent:)
