Keloid removal recommendations

I was diagnosed with BC in my right breast in 2017. Before starting chemo, I had a port installed on my left side just below the collarbone. The port was removed in 11/2017 after all my treatments were complete but over the next few months the area became extremely painful and a keloid formed. It was constant pain day and night. It wasn’t that big, maybe 1 1/2 inches long and 1/8 inch wide. I finally couldn’t handle it anymore and had my PS do steroid injections (Those made me realize maybe the keloid pain wasn’t so bad). Anyway the pain did decrease after that but I still had chronic pain and I honestly didn’t want to spend the rest of my life like that so last week my PS excised it and then I had 3 sessions of low dose radiation treatments over the course of the week. My follow up appt is with the PS today.

What I’m looking for is any recommendations for things I can put on the scar from now on to lesson the chance of the keloid forming again. The rads with the surgery supposedly decreases the chance by about 90% but I’m trying to hedge my bets here. When I had my regular radiation treatments I was using a cocktail of aquaphor, cocoa butter, aloe vera gel, coconut oil, calendula, pure shea butter and Eucerin (yeah, I went overboard) on the radiated breast but the scar is smooth and light and the rad burns are all gone. Oh yeah and Mederma too. I also did all that on the keloid. I’m open to anything new that will keep this from starting all over again.
