Herceptin and Taximofen if you have a heart condition?

My mother started her first round of treatment today (Chemo) but I receved the news that she has a weak heart which means might not be a good idea to give her HER2 medicine as part of her treatment.


They have scheduled an appointment with a cardiologist to see what his opinión is.


Is there an option for her?  Are there medicines she can take that wont harm her heart while keepign HER2 in check?


She is 83.
