Being sent to Rheumatologist to offset effects of Arimidex

Has anyone had success with stopping bone loss or gaining some back after stopping Arimidex??? Some of the side effects of the bone meds seem just as bad as the SEs of Arimidex. Any luck with diet and exercise? Don't like the idea of simply swapping one med for another med. TT

I was on Lupron years ago for 3 months. It put me into menopause and shrunk my fibroid tumors before surgery to remove them. I had a lot of bone loss in my hips. It grew back on it's own after stopping the drug, but it took years and the bone only grew back to the osteopenia stage --- I am very worried about starting the Aromatase inhibitors.
