False MRI positives for reoccurrence after chemo & radiation?

I am approx. two years out of lumpectomy chemo/herceptin and whole breast radiation. I have annual MRIs. My most recent MRI detected a 4mm spot in the rear of my same breast. I'm 38 and also have a history of fibroadenomas. I'm awaiting an MRI-guided biopsy. I'm wondering if others have had false positives when screening for reoccurrence (detections that turned out not to be a reoccurrence), after having gone through chemo and radiation. I'm also looking for data on whether a local reoccurrence within a 2-3 year period highly correlates with distant metastasis. I know I am high risk but am hoping for the best. Thanks for any insight

I had a false positive in same spot at almost 5 years, it was fat necrosis. Oncologist was suprised that 5 years after surgery changes were still happening.
