Ease my mind

I have a very painful lump, about the size of a ping pong ball, in between my breasts, more to the side of one. I hope it’s a cyst but I’m worried. I’ll be going to the doctors in a few days but for now can somebody help ease my mind with statistics or something

It is completely normal to feel anxious but please, keep in mind that most breast changes are not related to cancer. Anyway, it is a good thing that you're going to the doctor to get it checked out.
