Perjeta allergic reaction; Herceptin only for MBC maintenance?

Hi! Hope you all are having a good weekend.

I have been on maintenance Perjeta and Herceptin for almost a year. Yesterday during my triweekly infusion, I had a severe reaction to Perjeta - trouble breathing, dry cough, red hands, and the nurse said my eyes turned red; she ran and got my oncologist and immediately took me off of the Perjeta (I had almost 3/4 of a bag) and gave me IV steroids. I got a horrible headache. I took Benadryl when I got home and slept all day - I felt awful and still don't feet great today but am much better. Now I don't want to take Perjeta , but wondered if anyone has had luck with no recurrence with just Herceptin. I don't want to increase my risk but my quality of life is important and my oncologist said they would just give me Benadryl and steroids before treatment. I just don't know how healthy that can be having steroids and Benadryl every 3 weeks indefinitely so I can be on Perjeta. My onocologist said the longer I am on H&P the more likely I am to having these kinds of reactions. Was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.
