wow the 64 limit to titles makes it hard to write anything.

How many of you had just a few nodes removed (1-3ish), got Lymphedema, and had your surgery at an educational hospital?

I am wondering if it is more common for women who had surgery at an educational hospital (especially if you are on medicaid) and just got the 1-3 nodes taken to have lymphedema or lymphedema symptoms than women who don't have to deal with residents and less experienced doctors.

I've had a swollen node since surgery and I wonder if it is due to damage caused by my "breast fellow' surgeon -- not just typical damage due to changing the armpit lymph node area, but because she was less skilled and had more crude abilities. I can tell the fellow removed one breast and an expert with 10+ years experience did the other. The amateur side someone had also dropped a scalpel and I woke up with a scrape on me.

ANYWAY - just curious if there are others who were supposedly going to have "very low risk" for lymphedema yet got it quite soon post-surgery and also happened to have younger/educational hospital surgeons poking around on you, or any Medicaid/Obamacare low income people with this same issue.
