Implant Failure thin skin and infection/ success stories?

Hi lovely ladies

any one have their reconsturction fail on them but go on to have success when the try again.

How long did you wait in between the time the implant was removed and an expander put in?

My sister lost her implant yesterday and is devastated , they are treating her for an infection . Her incision would not heal and the thin skin around it kept tearing. It has been a long and complicated 2 months.

Would love to hear from anyone who has tried a second or third time with success. Ideally what did the doctor recommend for timing in between surgeries. thanks for your help
