Just discovered this board. A little over a year ago I had my first mammo and they found a suspicious area in my left breast. After a diagnostic mammogram, ultrasound and mri with contrast it was found to be scar tissue and it was recommended I have short term followup. I did have a breast injury roughly 6-8 months previous to that and that breast had a giant bruise on it (I was moving at the time and assume I wacked it something). During the ultrasound the radiologist thought it looked like scar tissue and asked about injuries. That was confirmed by 2 radiologists who looked at the MRI. I had another mammogram on that breast 6 months later and on both breasts a year later. I was called back for an ultrasound on the same spot which is happening on Jan 30. I was told they want to look at it from another angle whatever that means. Anyone else here have scar tissue that they are monitoring? I'm trying not to worry but I have a history of anxiety so its proving difficult. Thanks!
