Newbie here! Strong family history of BC. BRACA negative. Mom, her mom, fraternal grandmother and great grandmother all had BC. In 2014, I had a biopsy which resulted in a result of a fibroadenoma on my left breast at the 2 o'clock position 7cm from nipple for a oblong hypoechoic lesion, somewhat lobular - homogenuous internal echogenicity which measured 9mm. The radiologist told me that it was pretty much removed during biopsy. Current mammo and ultrasound shows focal asymmetry changes that need monitoring and tissue summation. Findings indeterminate and followup in 6 months or MRI recommended. My MD wants annual MRIs now and recommended I get one and not wait.

MRI showed two nodules round in shape 8mm and stated "is evident with contrast enhancement dynamics of a lymph node". It only said it was in the "o'clock" position also 7cm from nipple. I asked my doctors office why a location was not indicated and it may have been omitted when typed from dictation. ugh! It seems to be near where my last biopsy was but the not indicated on my ultrasound results this year. MRI reports says to follow-up with a focused ultrasound to determine if characteristic of a lymph node. If not characteristic of a node, to biopsy. One nodule is in the axila tail area - same appearance and size.

I am not nervous to get a biopsy but this screening has been going on since November and I am frustrated and anxiously waiting. Could it be the same thing from 2014? Do the fibroadenomas come back in the same location? Would a fibroadenoma be round and enhance with contrast? Why would only two lymph nodes enhance? From my reading, round lymph nodes are concerning. Can fibroadenoma's be round? Wondering how often BC is found first in lymph nodes.BIRADS 4 was given on MRI report.

I go for the focused ultrasound next week on the 31st and go to my MD for results on Feb 5.

Would appreciate any feedback, recommendations etc.
