Breast achy and sore, 8 weeks past rads? Normal?

I am stretching and massaging my breast with coconut oil morning and bedtime. The RO said to do this. I notice now, 8 weeks out, that I'm sore. I can tell the sometimes nerve pain from the lumpectomy, from what I think is rad pain? My breast has a dull ache to it, it's just sore, nothing seems to alleviate it, I've tried Advil. It's not horrible, but I definitely notice it. Is there anything more I can do??? How long might this last?

I think I had pain after... I still do but not if I don't touch the breast. If I squeeze it gently it hurts. The lumpectomy scar area and the entire armpit have always been sore, and my collarbone lymph node area is sometimes tender. I am 2 years out and they just nod when I tell them about all of this.

I think it's normal but keep an eye on it. Sorry you are in pain... hopefully it will lessen for you!! If it makes a difference, I eventually got used to it... I feel it but it's like normal life now.

I hope it's normal. It's been 4 weeks for me and I feel like it's more painful than it was a week after I finished. On the other hand, I've been working out a bit, and shoveling some snow, and maybe I'm just pushing recovery too hard.

I had my last rads on October 4th, and I'm sore when I stretch that area (like in a yoga class). I'm sure it'll take a while for everything to settle back down, and I think working through the soreness for me is a good thing.

Heads up also that when I went through this in 2016, I had some cording show up a year later. I asked my BS if it had to do with starting weightlifting and he said it sure could. I didn't do anything about it and it resolved on its own.
