Intraductal Papilloma - Anyone else experience this pain?

Happy Friday everyone!

I was just given a benign papilloma result from a core biopsy, which is obviously great news, but something is still bugging me, and I wanted to see if anyone else had experience with it.

One of the reasons I went in in the first place for scans was for discharge but also pain not only in my breast, but also all the way up to my collarbone and neck, and down into my left shoulder & arm. Now that the biopsy showed a benign papilloma I'm wondering if that's what is causing this pain? Has anyone else had this type of pain with a small papilloma lesion before (they said mine was about 1cm). Just hoping it will be gone after the lumpectomy and also that there's nothing else potentially hiding in there causing this pain! Thoughts?!

I am having the same problem minus the discharge and the papilloma dx.  I went in to see my PCP for pain in my left arm, armpit, collarbone, shoulder and arm.  I also have a lump in my left breast that is painful when I touch it.  I had a mammogram and ultrasound and was given clear results.  I am very confused why this is happening.  Every time I research this I get posts about breast cancer spreading.  I feel that if it was that advanced and had spread everywhere the mammogram and ultrasound would have picked up something.  I am at a loss on what to do next.

I had an intraductal papilloma with the discharge you mentioned back in 2000. I had all of my milk ducts surgically removed on the right side. I don't remember any pain with it. Especially pain like you are talking about.

I have been diagnosed with Intraductal papilloma

I was wondering if you could share your experience. I feel so much pain in my breast. Waiting for my biopsy results.
