how has anyone had luck speeding up the diagnosis process. My first symptom was bug bite like rash left side, lasted 4-6 weeks and faded over time but appeared over night. New symptoms are left side itching especially at nipple, more noticeable blue veins. Pcp feel left side was firmer than right and pain/ discomfort followed the site of former rash to nipple. Not tender on breast exam, no swelling or very minimal and no change to texture. Mam and us scheduled 1 week out and that was with doctor scheduling to hopefully rule out ibc, she feels there is some inflammation going on but not sure on cause thought is unlikely as of now. I called imaging place they said they wont see me until they have my previous mam from different center which take 10 days. I have called previous center and so has new center to get the scans urgently but nothing yet it has only been a day. With the worry on how fast this spreads waiting week for scans then maybe another on mri or surgeon seems crazy to me. Just wondering how others navigated it. Obviously if i become more symptomatic I will be calling my pcp back. Not sure if my dermatologist wou lol d do punch test where rash was when it is now variably visible. Any suggestions are welcome
