Breast Pain and Mirena

Hello,

I previously posted on another forum for a concern about a lump in left breast accompanied by shoulder pain, armpit pain, shoulder and chest pain.  Fast forward to today, I have clean results from ultrasound, and mammogram but still no relief.  I am trying to find a reason for this pain and the only thing that has changed with me is that I got a Mirena IUD insterted late August.  All my pains started late October.  I had never taken any sort of birth control before so I feel like my body has had a rough time adjusting.  I also have PCOS.  Has anyone expericned similar problems?

Side effects associated with Mirena include:

• Headache
• Acne
• Breast tenderness
• Irregular bleeding, which can improve after six months of use
• Mood changes
• Cramping or pelvic pain
