Hand pain following stereotactic biopsy

I had a biopsy on November 30 and thankfully it was benign. Shortly after the biopsy I started experiencing pain in the palm of my ha d that was above my head during the procedure. The pain has worsened and travels to my wrist and arm. I saw my docto and she told me that I have inflamed the nerve in my hand from the pressure I put on it during the procedure. She prescribed anti inflammatories. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I wasn’t expecting this to happend
