HER2 testing for DCIS?

Hi all, I cannot find any indication of HER2 testing on my biopsy pathology or final pathology after double mastectomy. No one has mentioned that to me either. I had DCIS only, with clear lymph nodes. I want to make sure I do everything I should, but I just don’t know anything about this test and whether it is even routinely done for DCIS only. Can anyone point me in the right direction

    HER2 testing is not routinely done for patients with pure DCIS since there is no bearing on treatment decisions. If you had any invasive component testing would have been done on that portion.

    thank you so much. There was no invasive component. Just when I feel like I understand at least my own diagnosis, I find something else unfamiliar
