Can you develop scar tissue after a biopsy and also a lump. My biopsy was 5 years ago and just found a lump there last week.

Indeed, scar tissue inside the breast may harden and feel lumpy. However, it would be important to get this looked at by your doctor, especially if it is just showing up after 5 years.

Well the thickness has always been there just the lump is new.
