Highly suspicious waiting biopsy results

Hi All,

I have a 2 centimeter mass with irregular borders, after the dr completed the biopsy she told me it looks like it’s stage 2. I’m stil waiting for the results to come in. Is there any glimmer of hope that it’s benign

Only the biopsy can tell 100%. In the meantime, to pass the time, look around the site to do some research. Prepare yourself for if it is malignant, and prepare yourself for if it is benign (it's emotional either way. That will make productive use of your time during the stressful waiting period. Hoping you hear soon! Hoping the doc was wrong. Did they give you a BIRADS?

~30% of birads 4s come back as malignant, so there is plenty of hope. And if it does come back positive for cancer, there is still hope.

Well its cancer! Still waiting for the entire pathology report to come back so I don't know much, I do know its 2 centimeters and believed to be stage 2. They are recommending genetic testing because I'm only 44, ill definitely get tested (I have a 19 yr old daughter) also have a 16 yr old son as well. Lol as I was typing this message the genetic counseling dept just called and I see them the 14th. So next steps is that plus an MRI. Thanks in advance for your support!!!
