What is ductal dysplasia???

So I’ve been going on this crazy roller coaster for the last 6 months. It started with a bizarre indent on one boob...fast forward through a diagnostic mam + US (reported as BI-RADS 4c)....then core needle biopsy...MRI...and finally an excisional biopsy (3.5 cm sample taken). Today the surgeon called and said pathology came back as “ductal dysplasia”. I see a lot of stuff online about hyperplasia, but not dysplasia. Is this the same as atypical hyperplasia? My next follow up appt is in march. FYI, I have a family history of BC diagnosis in 30’s (I’m 37.
