Chemo starting January 2019

Hello, all! I have had a crazy roller coaster ride since being diagnosed with ILC this October. I had a bilateral mastectomy on November 29 with my share of complications. What they thought was a 2cm tumor was really 10cm with tumors in two lymph nodes. I am so excited that there was no sign of mets and I am able to have chemo and radiation to try to nuke this cancer!

I start dose-dense ACT this Thursday, January 3. 4 doses of AC and 4 doses of Taxol, each once every two weeks. I am 45 years old and have two young daughters so I am fired up to tackle this cancer and move on.

Anyone else out there starting chemo in January 2019? Let's kick the new year off together! We can do this!

hello ladies! I am 43 and just started my 2nd AC treatment this past Friday. I will have 4 rounds of AC followed my 12 rounds of Taxol. My tumor is wuite large also, but seems to already be responding to treatment. I will be having a double mastectomy after chemo is finished.

Hello! There is another Chemo thread for January 2019 that was started earlierif you want to jump on that one. There are quite a few of us starting in January as well.
