I am having trouble finding any other posts with someone with the same HR status. If it is out there, I apologize for starting a new thread. I have been considered TN and HR positive so I’m confused. I’m trying to research if I should do Tamoxifen or any hormone therapy after chemo, but am not finding much. Anyone else in this very strange boat

I am in your boat. ER neg, PR weakly positive but Her2neu positive. I have only found one tiny study which implies being only PRpositive is an anomaly but if correct is indifferent on the effectiveness of taking ahormonal. My oncologist was insistent that being PR positive is like being ER positive and I must take a hormonal. When I tried to talk to her about it, she said if I didn't want to take it she couldn't make me but she'd note my file I was uncooperative. Basically she shamed me into it. I figure I'll take it for the minimum time and then decide if I should continue longer. At least if I have another recurrence I'll know I tried everything she's said.

I will let you know what my oncologist recommends, we had talked about hormone therapy but just in general terms.
