Upper back pain due to lattissimus dorsi flap procedure

I had a double mastectomy in 2007. As many others I still have the "iron bra" feeling, but I've gotten used to it. IIt's still amazing to think that 10 years later, you can still think you forgot to take off your tight bra in the shower. Since I've gotten older, I feel such aching in my upper back and traps. I think that my other muscles are working so hard since I don't have my lats anymore. In hindsight I would never have taken out those huge muscles from my back. Of course, hindsight, is so clear. Does anyone else have fatigued upper back muscles? Of course, I'm more than thankful to be here.
