Post-lumpectomy pain following annual mammogram

I just had my first mammogram since my a lumpectomy in April, and have experienced pain since. I'm curious whether others have had similar experiences of pain after a post-lumpectomy mammogram? I guess this pain recurrence could be coincidental, but it's probably unlikely. Pain is similar to pain I experienced directly after the lumpectomy which stopped several months ago. Don't think doctor had heard of mammo causing pain in a situation like this, but wasn't worried & said if it didn't go away in a month, contact her.
