edited December 2018 in Not Diagnosed With a Recurrence or Metastases but Concerned

it’s been almost 6 years, I went off tamoxifen last year. Been feeling fine but fell and broke my leg and wrist hanging a Christmas wreath. Went in for routine annual exam and CA-15.3 came back at 115. Dr is concerned. I’m scared. She doesn’t feel fractures are related. CT scan soon hopefully ...wondering if the elevated numbers could be from inflammation from my breaks?? Trying to take one step at a time. Any input, appreciated!!

    Does your doctor test this routinely? I'm glad they are following up. Hoping it is related to the inflammation from your fractures, or from some other inflammation. Keep us posted.

    Whole body CT and bone scan showed one mixed lyric and sclerotic lesion on the right side on T12. Biopsy this week. So weird to feel relieved by that but better than finding out it’s spread all over or more lesions. Hey maybe it will be benign? Although my doctor doubts it.Not telling anyone until I know what I’m dealing with. So hard to keep it in but it’s Christmas!! Praying it’s not cancer but grateful to have caught it early if it is

    my radiologist and oncologist attributes my sclerotic image as bone repair from zometo infusions.
